New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees received a lot of congratulatory messages after breaking the NFL's all-time record for touchdown passes, with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady among them.

Brees threw four touchdown passes in the Saints' 34-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night, giving him 541 for his illustrious career, surpassing the previous record of 539 by Peyton Manning.

Brady, who currently has 538 touchdown passes, putting him only one behind Manning, and three behind Brees, was quick to take to Twitter on Monday night to offer Brees his congratulations.

Brady will soon bypass Manning, and he and Brees will likely be 1-2 for quite some time in the race for the most touchdown passes of all-time.

The two are also currently 1-2 for most career passing yards, with Brees having thrown for 76,884, with Brady at 74,079.
