Two more LSU Tigers are off the board for the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft! This time around it's third baseman Jake Slaughter and outfielder Antoine Duplantis.

Jake Slaughter was drafted in the 18th round (548th overall) by the Chicago Cubs, joining teammate Cam Sanders. Slaughter was a sophomore from Choudrant, LA who had a decent season, he hit .254, scored 29 runs, drove in 30 runs, and slugged eight home runs.

Antoine Duplantis was the next drafted, one round later in the 19th round (583 overall) by the Cleveland Indians. This junior from Lafayette, LA, led LSU in hitting at .328 clip, runs scored (55), triples (6), and stolen bases with 19.
