Lafayette's Antoine Duplantis dropped a single to left field in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift LSU to a 6-5 win over South Carolina and clinching the weekend series.

The hit was Duplantis' fifth of the day, pushing the Tigers to a 15-9 record in the league, just one game behind Mississippi State and Florida in the overall standings.

Zach Hess (5-1) got the win for LSU with 1.1 innings of relief work.

LSU hosts South Alabama in a midweek game before taking on Auburn next weekend at Alex Box Stadium.
