There are four games on tap in the Sun Belt Conference Thursday as we begin the second half of the conference season.

If there's one thing we've learned so far it's how unpredictable this league is.  And, although the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns don't play tonight, fans may be doing a little scoreboard watching.  Here's a look at tonight's games.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN (15-7, 6-3) at LITTLE ROCK (5-17, 2-7) --First meeting:  Georgia Southern 72, Little Rock 69.--Three of Little Rock's losses have come by five points or less and, despite their record, they are slowly improving.  Georgia Southern took a home conference loss last week and they need to make up some ground on this road trip.  We'll see if the Trojans can adequately guard the three point line.

GEORGIA STATE (16-6, 7-2) at ARKANSAS STATE (8-14, 3-6)--First meeting: Georgia State 79, Arkansas State 75--The hottest team in the league not named Louisiana, the Panthers will go for their eighth straight win tonight.  D'Marcus Simonds is establishing himself as the league's best player and is the SBC Player of the Week for the second time this season.  When Arkansas State shoots it well, they have a chance.  But will they have any kind of answer for Simonds and company?  The game is on ESPN3.

APPALACHIAN STATE (9-14, 4-6) at UTA (14-10, 4-6)--First meeting: App State 80, UTA 76.--The Mountaineers jumped out to a huge lead in Boone and then held on for dear life as the Mavericks mounted a big comeback.  UTA will get five of its last eight at home and they've got only one league loss at home this season.  UTA still has hopes for a first round bye, but they can't afford another home loss.  The game is on ESPN3

COASTAL CAROLINA (10-13, 4-6) at TEXAS STATE (14-9, 7-3)--First meeting: Texas State 53, CCU 48--Like UTA, Texas State has five of their last eight games at home, and, like UTA, they've only lost to Louisiana on their home court this season.  With exception of the Cajuns, all of the Bobcats league games have been decided by six points or less.  Will tonight be any different?
