The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were off Thursday, but there were four games on tap in the Sun Belt Conference.

Here's what happened around the league.

GEORGIA STATE 77, ARKANSAS STATE 66--Make it eight in a row for the Panthers, as D'Marcus Simonds led the way with 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists.  Georgia State (17-6, 8-2) put three in double figures and shot 56% from the floor to 36% for the Red Wolves.  Arkansas State (8-15, 3-7) led 50-48 with 10:49 to play, but GSU then went on an 18-5 run to pull away.  Devin Simms had 28 points for the Red Wolves.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN 67, LITTLE ROCK 61--Georgia Southern trailed by double digits in the first half, but rallied to get the win.  Tookie Brown had 19 points for the Eagles (16-7 7-3), who took the lead for good with 13 minutes left.  Georgia Southern won it at the free throw line, nailing 23-29 while Little Rock was just 8-19.  Andre Jones had 18 points for the Trojans (5-18, 2-8), who have lost six in a row.

UTA 89, APPALACHIAN STATE 77--The Mavericks got a career high 38 points from Erick Neal to rally past Appalachian State.  The Mountaineers (9-15, 4-7) led at the half, but UTA (14-10, 5-6) took the lead for good with nine minutes left.  Kevin Hervey had a double double for the Mavs, while Ronshad Shabazz had 31 points for App.

COASTAL CAROLINA 56, TEXAS STATE 54 (OT)--Demario Beck hit a layup as time expired in overtime to give the Chanticleers the upset win.  Nijal Pearson, who led the Bobcats with 16 points, hit a pair of free throws to tie the game with a minute to go.  CCU missed a shot, but the Bobcats (14-10, 7-4) turned the ball over, giving the Chants (11-13, 5-6) the final shot.
