TEXAS STATE 81, GEORGIA STATE 68--The Bobcats (17-3, 6-1 Sun Belt) moved into sole possession of first place in the league and handed Georgia State (14-6, 5-2) its first loss at home this season.  Nijal Pearson scored 28 points to lead three players in double figures.  The score was tied at the half, but Texas State went on an 18-0 run early in the second half to take command.  Devin Mitchell led the Panthers with 20 points.

UTA 72, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 67--The Mavericks (9-11, 5-2 Sun Belt) won their fifth straight, coming from 13 points down in the second half.  UTA finally took the lead for good with just under eight minutes to play.  David Azore and Brian Warren combined for 29 points to lead UTA.  The Mavs shot 55% in the second half and held Georgia Southern (12-8, 4-3) to just 5-21 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles put five in double figures, led by Tookie Brown with eleven.

ARKANSAS STATE 81, APPALACHIAN STATE 80 (OT)--The Red Wolves spotted Appalachian State an 18 point lead in the first half but came back to force overtime.  Ty Cockfield's two free throws with :47 left in the extra period gave Arkansas State (9-11, 3-4) the lead for good.  Cockfield led all scorers with 32 points.  The Mountaineers (5-14, 0-6) were held to just 33% shooting in the second half.  Justin Forrest scored 24 points and Ronshad Shabazz added 22 for App.

COASTAL CAROLINA 72, LITTLE ROCK 71--Coastal jumped out to a 15 point lead in the second half but needed a Zac Cuthbertson free throw with 1.3 seconds left to get the win.  Rayjon Tucker, who scored 29 points for Little Rock (7-13, 2-5 Sun Belt) led the comeback and tied the game with under a minute to play.  Devante Jones and Ajay Sanders combined for 40 points to lead the Chanticleers (9-9, 3-3) to the road win.

ULM 75, TROY 69--The Warhawks (11-7, 4-2 Sun Belt) got 16 points each from Michael Ertel and Travis Munnings, and 15 from Daishon Smith to remain unbeaten at Fant-Ewing Coliseum this season.  ULM committed only seven turnovers in the game and outscored the Trojans (10-9, 3-4) in  points off turnovers 17-6 and hit 15-17 free throws.  Jordan Varnado scored 29 points for the Trojans.
