While we wait for the opening kickoff to the 2018 season, there are events this week that should appeal to you if you are a Cajuns fan.

THE FLASH SALE CONTINUES--The 40% off, one day only event continues this week in the surrounding parishes.  Fans in St. Landry Parish can stop by Brent's Catering in Grand Coteau Wednesday from 10am-2pm.  Thursday, Gulf Coast Bank in Abbeville is the spot for Vermilion Parish from 10am-1pm.  Friday evening from 5pm-8pm, Iberia Parish fans can take advantage of the Flash Sale by stopping by the Little River Inn.  And Saturday, stop by Buck and Johnny's in Breaux Bridge from 8am-12noon if you're in St. Martin Parish.

CAJUNS CARE DONATION PROGRAM STILL AVAILABLE--Cajuns supporters can treat others to Ragin' Cajun football by purchasing season tickets for just $20.00 and donating them to local charities.  The Boys and Girls Club, the United Way and area military servicemen and servicewomen. VOLLEYBALL, SOCCER HAVE HOME MATCHES--Coach Scot Wieland's soccer team opens the season Friday at Ole Miss, then will have its home opener this Sunday against Sam Houston State.  The game will be under the lights at the Ragin' Cajun Soccer/Track Complex beginning at 6:00 pm.  Meanwhile, the Cajun Volleyball team will host Houston Baptist in an exhibition contest Saturday at 3:00 pm at historic Eark K. Long Gym.  Coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot's squad opens the regular season next week.

MEET BILLY--There will be a football rally featuring Louisiana football coach Billy Napier this Thursday at Super One Foods in Scott (200 Destination Pointe Lane) from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Super One was recently named the Official Grocery Store of the Ragin' Cajuns.
