It has been an incredible season for the Ragin' Cajuns Softball team. As it sits they're riding a 23 game winning streak, they're undefeated in Sun Belt Conference play and ranked among the top ten best teams in the nation.

The star shortstop Alissa Dalton sat down with me on Monday to talk about the way the team has been performing this season, her relationship with Gerry Glasco, the teammate who motivates her, the person who most influenced her growing up and much more.

You'll also find out which position she would most like to play if she wasn't playing shortstop, what it means to play for the Cajuns, which sport she would most like to play if she wasn't playing short, and when does she actually enjoy popcorn if not at the movies.
