The top teams continued to win Saturday in the Sun Belt Conference.

League leader Arkansas State, along with Georgia Southern and Appalachian State were all victorious Saturday, while Georgia State got a big road win.

ARKANSAS STATE 59, ULM 21--Fredi Knighten threw for five touchdowns and ran for another as Arkansas State scored 38 unanswered points after a 21-21 tie.  Two of the touchdowns came in the final 3:44 of the first half as the Red Wolves opened a 35-21 lead at the half.  ULM fired head coach Todd Berry following the Warhawks' eighth straight loss.

APPALACHIAN STATE 47, IDAHO 20--In Moscow, Jalen Moore rushed for 244 yards, the most ever by an App State freshman.  The Mountaineers wound up with 411 yards on the ground.  Quarterback Taylor Lamb threw for three scores.  It was Idaho's third straight loss.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN 45, TROY 10--The Trojans had been playing solid football, but Georgia Southern kept the football for 42:55 seconds after spotting Troy a 10-0 lead.  Troy had just 212 total yards and turned it over three times, while the Eagles amassed 325 yards on the ground.

GEORGIA STATE 41, TEXAS STATE 19--The Panthers' defense held Texas State to the lowest point total by an FBS school since Georgia State came into the league.  The Panthers offense, meanwhile, rolled up a school record 643 yards in the rout.  Nick Arbuckle threw for 475 yards and four touchdowns.
