Some of the first-round draft choices from the 2011 NFL Draft have made immediate impacts in their rookie season.

Linebacker Von Miller of the Broncos, cornerback Patrick Peterson of the Cardinals, and quarterback Cam Newton of the Panthers are just a few of the rookies who were drafted in the first-round that have their current employers optimistic about the future.

There are others, who while it's still way too early to call them "flops", or even disappointments, that haven't played up to their team's expectation, either because of talent, experience, injuries, or unforeseen circumstances.
