Already missing two veteran running backs because of injury, the University of Texas has added another to the walking wounded.

True freshman Jordan Whittington suffered a sports hernia injury in the game with Louisiana Tech Saturday and will miss 4-6 weeks.  He was a highly touted recruit who was expected to play significant minutes this season.

That leaves Keaontay Ingram as the only experienced back as Texas prepares to host LSU this Saturday.  Ingram led Texas in rushing in the game Saturday with 78 yards on eleven carries.  His back up is freshman quarterback Roschon Johnson who was moved to running back just ten days ago.

Veteran running backs Kirk Johnson and Daniel Young are both injured and missed Saturday's game.
