This is video of a recent NBA basketball game between the New Jersey Nets and Boston Celtics, in which it appears as though the Nets' broadcast team of Ian Eagle and Mike Fratello get into it on the air a little bit.

In the first part, Fratello, the former NBA coach and color commentator in this game mentions the term "split screen", when Eagle, the play-by-play man, asks him to elaborate to the audience.

Notice where Eagle, who was apparently seething at the way he interpreted Fratello spoke down to him, says with all the sarcasm he can muster"...his right leg just inside the 3-point line so, Mike, that means they give him two points."

Later, Eagle actually confronts Fratello on-air.

You can call this amusing. You can call it unprofessional. But you also have to call it tense, and awkward.
