Facing Justin Verlander proved to be a tough task for the Boston Red Sox, but facing John Lackey and a Boston bullpen was a tougher task for the Detroit Tigers.
The Texas Rangers are one win away from their first MLB World Series championship after winning Game 5 over the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night by the score of 4-2. Rangers catcher Mike Napoli had the hit of the game (pictured left) when he lined a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth inning. One inning later he made the defensive play of the game throwing out a would-be stealer as Albert Pujols struck out.
