Former Major League pitcher Mike Flanagan, who spent most of his career with the Baltimore Orioles, was found dead at his home, on Wednesday.
On Thursday his death was ruled a suicide.
Flanagan compiled a 167-143 career record, in 18 season, including a 23-9 record in 1979, when he won the American League Cy Young Award.
