Eight different people have been suspended by Major League Baseball for their actions during Tuesday night's bench-clearing brawl between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.

D'Backs right handed pitcher Ian Kennedy got the stiffest penalty, a 10 game suspension for throwing at Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke.  That incident came after both benches had been warned.

The steepest penalties for the Dodgers were to pitcher J. P. Howell and utility player Skip Schumaker, two games each.

Both managers, Don Mattingly and Kirk Gibson, were suspended one game each.
