The highlights (if there were any at all) from Super Bowl LIII definitely didn't come from the game itself.

With the game ending just as Roger wanted, and the lowest ratings in over 10 years, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman became the Super Bowl MVP. He had 10 catches for 141-yards in the Pats 13-3 win over the Rams.

After the game, in a perfectly executed impression of Randy Moss, Edelman recounted to back when he was a rookie for the Patriots in the 2009 season. Moss played for them from 2007-2010. During that brief time with Randy Moss as a teammate, he apparently spouted some pretty hilarious trash talk to the young guys on the team, Edelman being one of them.

“He goes, ‘Edelnut, there about 14 or 15 of you in this league. There’s only one Randy Moss. Ninety-eight first round — get to know me.’”

I miss the days of trash talking wide receivers like Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Chad Ochocinco.
