Four big games highlight the third weekend of Sun Belt Conference women's basketball play this weekend.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, who have won their first two road games in conference play, will try to make it three-straight on Saturday, when they travel to Troy, Alabama, to take on the Troy Trojans.

Louisiana is 10-5, overall, and tied for second in conference play, at 3-1, one-half game behind first place Arkansas St.

Troy (4-11, 0-5) has lost eight-consecutive games, including 10 of their last 11, and have also lost all five of their conference games. But they are a dangerous team, as their overtime loss to SEC member Alabama on December 20 will attest.

The Trojans also have the league's leading scorer, in Joanna Harden, who is averaging 24.6 points-per-game.

This game will feature a contrast of styles, with Troy averaging the most points in the league, at 79.4 a game, while Louisiana is allowing the second-fewest, at 60.7 a contest.

Maybe the biggest game of the weekend will take place in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as the Western Kentucky Lady Toppers play host to the first-place Arkansas St. Red Wolves.

Arkansas St., who had their four-game win streak snapped by Georgia St. on Tuesday night (76-74), still hold the top spot in the conference, with a 4-1 league mark, while standing at 10-7, overall.

Meanwhile, WKU is on a roll, having won six of their last seven, while going 8-1 at home this year.

This match-up will feature the second and third leading scorers in the league, respectively, in Aundrea Gamble (18.2) of Arkansas St. and Chastity Gooch (16.9) of WKU.

The ULM Warhawks will travel to Mobile, Alabama, to take on the South Alabama Jaguars.

After dropping their conference opener to Louisiana, ULM has since rebounded to win three-straight, including road wins at UT-Arlington and Troy.

The Warhawks, who have the fourth leading scorer in the league, in Ashleigh Simmons (15.1), are currently in a three-way tie for second place in the league, with Louisiana and WKU, at 3-1 in conference play, and are 7-9, overall.

South Alabama has lost three-straight, and five of their last seven, but are 4-2 at home over their last six games there.

The Jaguars are 4-11, overall, and 2-3 in league play.

The other Sun Belt Conference women's game this weekend will have the Georgia St. Panthers hosting the UALR Trojans.

UALR is currently 8-7, overall, and 3-2 in conference play, only one game behind Arkansas St., while Georgia St. will come in at 6-10, overall, and 2-2 in league play.
