A change that affects the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns has been made in the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship.

Due to inclement weather in San Marcos, Texas, the final game of play on Thursday night has been postponed, and the tournament will resume on Friday.

Louisiana defeated Texas St., 4-3, in their first game in the tournament on Thursday, capturing their 25th-straight win, to improve to 48-4 on the season.

Following that game, ULM eliminated 2nd-seeded Troy, 3-0, in 10 innings.

The last game of the day, featuring Texas St. and UTA, was scheduled to start just shortly after 8 pm, before being postponed.

So, play will begin on Friday at 10 am, with Texas St. taking on UTA, with Louisiana/Coastal Carolina to follow at 12:30 pm, with the winner of the latter game advancing to Championship Saturday.

At 3 pm, ULM will take on the Texas St./UTA survivor.

The winner of that game will take on the loser of the UL/Coastal Carolina contest on Saturday morning at 10 am.

The title game is slated for Saturday at 1 pm.
