Louisiana Ragin' Cajun point guard Marcus Stroman has been named the state's player of the week by the Louisiana Sports Writers' Association.

Stroman had his second double double of the season in leading the Cajuns (15-3, 5-0 Sun Belt) to an 82-48 win over ULM Saturday night at the Cajundome.

Stroman had ten points on 4-5 shooting from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line.  He finished with ten points and ten assists as the Cajuns won their fifth straight.  He also added four rebounds and five steals in 26 minutes on the court.

Stroman leads the Sun Belt Conference in assist/turnover ratio and is second in the league in assists per game.  He stands sixth in the Sun Belt in steals per game.
