STM left handed pitcher and Ragin' Cajun commit Hogan Harris has been named the best high school baseball player in Louisiana by Maxpreps.

The 6'2, 195 left handed senior went 3-0 last season, helping the Cougars capture the 4A state championship. In 16.2 innings pitched, Harris fanned 31 batters.

He returns as a senior this season in hopes to leading STM to another state title.

The UL signee has serious power, with a fastball that tops out in the mid 90s.

Last season, perfect game named him as a 2014 underclassmen All-American honorable mention.
