After New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees asked the NFL to allow Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis, and Joe Vitt to attend Sunday night's game against the San Diego Chargers, the question became whether or not they would. Vitt and Loomis declinded, but Payton will be in that number.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that according to his sources, the suspended head coach of the Saints will be in the Mercedes Benz Superdome on Sunday night.

Brees wanted all three men to share in what is expected to be an historic milestone for the quarterback. With one touchdown pass against San Diego, Brees will surpass Johnny Unitas' 52 year old record of most consecutive games with a TD pass at 48.

Payton will not be allowed to have contact with his team, and will view the game from a private area. However, concessions are being made by the leauge to allow Sean to visit with Brees after the game.

The Saints (0-4) will host the Chargers (3-1) Sunday night. Kickoff is set for 7:20.
