Sound Effect Distracts J.J. Puts During Pitch – VIDEO

Here's video of Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher J.J. Putz getting spooked by a sound effect, right in the middle of his delivery, during Saturday's game against the New York Mets, at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

The hitter, Justin Turner, who was also startled by the awkward sound, managed to single during the at-bat.

The people in charge of the audio room obviously played something that they weren't supposed to.

The Mets went on to win, 4-1.
