SEC Baseball From This Past Weekend

It was a tough week for the LSU Tigers as they were swept by Texas this past weekend but let's take a look at how all of the SEC schools performed on the diamond.

#9 LSU (8-3) swept by #11 Texas. Lost game one 8-1, game two 8-4, and game three 7-6.
#10 ARKANSAS (10-1) swept Stony Brook 3-1, 4-3, and 15-7.
#21 TENNESSEE (12-0) won out at the Cox Diamond Invitational. Beat ULM 7-2, North Florida 10-2, and Western Kentucky 6-3.
KENTUCKY (8-3) swept Canisius 10-2, 12-3, and 4-3.
#8 MISS ST (10-1) won out at the Frisco Classic defeating Sam Houston State 5-4 and #12 Texas Tech 4-2.
#1 VANDERBILT (9-2) swept Dayton 11-3, 5-1, and 2-0.
#15 GEORGIA (9-2) won two out of three against Georgia Southern. Won game one 3-1 and game two 4-2 but fell 10-7 in the second game Saturday.
#24 SOUTH CAROLINA (9-2) took two of three from Clemson. Won game one 5-4, lost game two 11-5 before winning the series Sunday 14-3.
#6 FLORIDA (9-4) swept Winthrop 16-4, 28-5, and 5-3.
#18 AUBURN (9-2) swept Cinncinatti 5-0, 5-0, and 9-5.
#13 OLE MISS (8-2) swept Long Beach State 7-2, 7-6, and 5-3.
ALABAMA (10-2) swept South Alabama 7-3, 10-5, and 6-1.
MISSOURI (6-5) split two games this weekend. They started the weekend defeating Central Arkansas 4-0 and lost to South Dakota State 6-3.
#22 TEXAS A&M (11-2) played in the Shriners College Classic and swept away the competition. They beat #20 Baylor 5-2, got by TCU 1-0, and defeated Houston 3-2.
