Besides the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' loss to Ole Miss, there were three conference games played on Saturday...and the league got its third bowl-eligible team.

Here's a look at the scores:

GEORGIA STATE 33, TEXAS STATE 30--Connor Manning had a big game and Brandon Hughes kicked a school record four field goals as Georgia State became bowl eligible for the second time in school history.  Georgia State (6-3, 5-1) went ahead for good on Kyler Neal's touchdown with just over six minutes to play.

Manning threw for 382 yards and a pair of scores, as Georgia State won its fifth straight road game.

SOUTH ALABAMA 24, ARKANSAS STATE 19--South Alabama couldn't get anything going on the ground, but Cole Garvin threw for 343 yards and a pair of touchdowns to get the win.

Arkansas State (5-3, 4-1 SBC) turned the ball over six times in the loss.mARCU

The Jaguars' (4-6, 3-3) got a pair of turnovers on Arkansas State's final two possessions as Bull Barge forced a fumble at the USA one yard line and Jeremy Reaves picked off a Justice Hansen pass to seal the win.

TROY 42, COASTAL CAROLINA 17--Marcus Jones ran back a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns and Jordan Chunn set a new Troy mark for touchdowns in a career as the Trojans (8-2, 5-1) continued their quest for a conference title. Jones' kickoff returns went for 91 and 87 yards.  Chunn's touchdown was from eight yards out in the second quarter.
