Sunday night in New Orleans when the Dallas Cowboys come to town you can bet the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be rocking. Many of the faithful are regulars at Saints games. Others will have bought their way into the party like a wannabe Kardashian. But they will have paid a lot of money for the privilege of saying "I was there".

Several aftermarket ticket sellers are reporting that Saints/Cowboys tickets are the hottest tickets of the NFL season so far. The average price of a ticket to the game will set you back about $400 if you aren't fortunate enough to have one already.

Some ticket resellers are reporting premium seats are being offered for a price of $2,000 or more. In fact, there's one posting that we noticed on SeatGeek in Sec. 149 – Row 14 that was offering tickets for the bargain price of $9,700.

I guess if you have more money than sense then those tickets probably have your name on them. Or you could just win some tickets to the game, plus a night in a New Orleans area hotel, dinner at Tsunami in New Orleans, and a bar tab at Bourbon Heat in the French Quarter. If you wanted to do that you just need to open our station app and enter by Thursday morning at 8 am.

I wonder if the people paying so much for tickets realize the game will be nationally televised? Hmm, I guess the big screen in the living room can't replace the feeling of being there. However, the shorter line at the bathroom and the lower-priced snacks and beverages are what will keep me at home while the rich kids go watch the theatrical presentation that is the NFL on Sunday night.
