Saints Sign Offensive Lineman Orlando Franklin

NFL Network insider Ian Rappaport is first to report the New Orleans Saints have signed former second round pick Orlando Franklin.

After starting his career with Denver, Franklin signed a five year deal worth almost $40 million with San Diego in 2015, but made it just two seasons.  His signing gives the Saints badly needed offensive line help.

It's likely Franklin will get a chance at some quality reps given the Saints injury problems on the OL.
