The New Orleans Saints have added a running back to their practice squad.

The Saints had an open slot on their practice squad after the Philadelphia Eagles signed the team's 6th-round draft pick, Boston Scott, off of it earlier this week.

Carter, who spent the preseason with the Washington Redskins, played his college football at Grambling St., where he accumulated 1,560 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns.

The 5-foot-7, 195-pound Carter helped Grambling St. to an HBCU national championship in 2016, as well as back-to-back SWAC titles in 2016 and 2017.
