Saints Release Punter Brandon Fields, Morstead Return Likely

New Orleans Saints punter Brandon Fields has been released, according to multiple reports.

Fields signed with New Orleans two weeks ago after Morstead suffered a strained quadricrep in the Saints win over the Dallas Cowboys in week 4.

Fields' release means Morstead is likely to return this Sunday when Saints play the Colts in Indianapolis.

In addition to punting, Morstead typically handles kickoff duties for the Saints. Newly signed kicker Kai Forbath did not kickoff very well during his time with the Washington Redskins.
