We were all curious as to if the New Orleans Saints were really going to go into Sunday's opening game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with only two running backs. On Saturday, the team announced that they'll be promoting one of their backs from the practice squad according to Mike Triplett of ESPN.

So, not Boston Scott but Jonathan Williams will be promoted to the active roster for Sunday. I was surprised when he was cut last weekend after the preseason success he had and Mark Ingram's four-game suspension. However, they were able to get him on the practice squad and he will now be active tomorrow but who would they cut? Mike Triplett answers that question also....

So, add Williams and subtract Jermon Bushrod for Sunday and frankly, it's not surprising that Bushrod was the one to go. Hopefully, Gillislee and Williams can provide some good depth behind Alvin Kamara.
