The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they hit the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals in a showdown of NFC foes.

Kickoff time at University of Phoenix in Glendale, Arizona is scheduled for 3:05 pm, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420 and 97.3 The Dawg.

The Cardinals lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 15-14, including a 31-19 win over the Saints last year.

New Orleans, who lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 16-11, last week, has lost two-straight, including four of their last five, and is 5-8 on the season, while Arizona, who lost to the Miami Dolphins, 23-20, in overtime, last week, and will enter the match-up at 5-7-1.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 27.5 points-per-game, along with 413.3 total yards, including 313.9 passing yards, and 104.4 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 4,170 yards and 30 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 772 yards and three touchdowns, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 69 passes for 831 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Cardinals, offensively, are averaging 23.0 points, 363.8 total yards, 253.2 passing yards, and 110.6 rushing yards a game this season.

Arizona is paced by quarterback Carson Palmer, who has thrown for 3,376 yards and 20 touchdowns, along with running back David Johnson, who has rushed for 1,085 yards and 11 touchdown, and receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who has compiled 91 receptions for 892 yards and five touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 366.7 yards-per-game, including 268.3 passing yards and 98.4 rushing yards, while the Cardinals have allowed 298.5 total yards, including 201.8 passing yards and 96.8 rushing yards.
