Could a former member of the New Orleans Saints soon be returning to the team?

The 37-year old Watson, who missed all of 2016 with a torn Achilles tendon, compiled 61 catches for 522 yards and four touchdowns last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

The 6-foot-3, 251-pound Watson put together a career year in his final season in New Orleans in 2015, totaling 74 catches for 825 yards and six touchdowns.

A 2004 first-round pick by New England out of Georgia, Watson spent six seasons with the Patriots (2004-09), before moving on to the Cleveland Browns (2010-12), the Saints, and the Baltimore Ravens (2016-17).

One of the three finalists for the 2018 Walter Payton Man of The Year Award, Watson has appeared in 179 games over his career, including 131 starts, totaling 495 catches for 5,485 yards and 42 touchdowns.
