The New Orleans Saints are losing a player off of their practice squad.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed wide receiver Max McCaffrey off the Saints' practice squad on Tuesday.

The 23-year old McCaffrey was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke, following the 2016 NFL Draft.

After being cut by the Raiders, McCaffrey spent most of last season on the Green Bay Packers practice squad, before being put on the active roster for one game.

The son of former NFL receiver Ed McCaffrey, and the brother of Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, McCaffrey was added to the Saints' practice squad last week, after he was among the Packers' final cuts

The Saints now have former LSU and Breaux Bridge High School standout Travin Dural as the only receiver on their practice squad.
