New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette was arrested at his home in Kenner today.

He is being booked with domestic violence/simple battery.

Galette led the Saints in sacks this season with 10.

Four months ago, the Saints inked Galette to a four-year, $41.5 million contract extension. He joined the Saints in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of Stillman College.

He was voted by teammates as a defensive team captain before the 2014 season.

The Saints are currently aware of the arrest, and according to a report from espn.com's Mike Triplett, are gathering more information as the story develops.
