The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they play host to the Seattle Seahawks in a match-up of NFC foes.

Kickoff time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

Seattle leads the all-time series between the two franchises, 8-5, and has won the last three meetings, including a 23-15 triumph back in 2014, in the last game between the two franchises.

New Orleans, who fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 27-21, last week, snapping their two-game win streak, is 2-4 on the young season, while Seattle, who tied the Arizona Cardinals, 6-6, will enter the match-up at 4-1-1.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 29.3 points-per-game, along with 421.7 total yards, including 339.3 passing yards, and 82.3 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 2,104 yards and 17 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 334 yards and a touchdown, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 36 passes for 437 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seahawks, offensively, are averaging 18.5 points, 336.7 total yards, 254.0 passing yards, and 82.7 rushing yards a game this season.

Seattle is paced by quarterback Russell Wilson, who has passed for 1,559 yards and five touchdowns, along with running back Christine Michael, who has rushed for 406 yards and four touchdowns, and receiver Doug Baldwin, who has compiled 34 receptions for 430 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 403.8 yards-per-game, including 287.0 passing yards and 116.8 rushing yards, while the Seahawks have allowed 310.2 total yards, including 226.0 passing yards and 84.2 rushing yards.
