The defense was swarming once again for the New Orleans Saints as they stifle Gardner Minshew, Leonard Fournette and the Jacksonville Jaguars and win it 13-6.

The win is the fourth in a row for New Orleans and all without Drew Brees. With the win, they move to 5-1 on the season.

Both teams struggled on offense as Bridgewater went 24/36 with 240 yards passing, a touchdown and no interceptions. Gardner Minshew was held to just 163 yards passing on 14/29 passing, no touchdowns and an interception by Marshon Lattimore.

Leonard Fournette was really the only offensive weapon for the Jags as he racked up 72 yards rushing and 46 yards receiving on six catches. Otherwise, the Saints defense kept Jacksonville out of the end zone, sacked Minshew twice and knocked down seven passes.

The only touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Bridgewater found tight end Jared Cook in the back of the end zone for what would be the game-winning touchdown.

Michael Thomas led the way receiving wise for the Saints as he hauled in eight passes for 89 yards. Alvin Kamara was limited on the ground as he rushed the ball 11 times for only 31 yards as Latavious Murray had one of his most effective games as he rushed for 44 yards on eight carries.

Up next for New Orleans will be a trip to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears next Sunday.
