Three days before the start of training camp, the New Orleans Saints made four roster moves.

Saints GM Mickey Loomis announced today that defensive tackle Moses McCray and linebacker Cheta Ozougwu have been waived.

Replacing both players on the training camp roster are linebacker Marcus Thompson and nose tackle Tyrone Ezell, both of whom were officially signed today.

Thompson is a 6'1, 250 pounder out of Rugers. He originally signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Miami Dolphins, but was later released. Thompson had a solid career at Rugers, starting 26 games, registering 91 tackles and 6.5 sacks.

Ezell is a 6'4, 305 pounder out of Pitt. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in May by the Houston Texans, and later released. Ezell started 24 games at Pitt, registering 77 tackles and 6 sacks. He was voted team captain by his teammates for his senior year.

Players report to Saints training camp Thursday night at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Practices begin Friday morning and are open to the public.
