Pete Rose is going into the Hall of Fame.

No.  Not that one.

The Cincinnati Reds have announced baseball's all time hits leader will be inducted into their Hall of Fame this summer.

Rose's ban from baseball was upheld by Commissioner Rob Manfred in December.  But in making the announcement, Manfred said he believed Rose was deserving to be in the Hall of Fame.

He also stated Rose could take part in ceremonies provided they were cleared by Manfred's office.

The Hall of Fame induction will be held in conjunction with a celebration honoring the 1976 "Big Red Machine."  Rose's number 14 will be retired as well.
