After just turning 22-years of age, in May, Rory McIlroy became the youngest US Open Champion, since World War II, when he captured the 111th US Open, on Sunday.

The victory marked the first major title for McIlroy, who finished the tournament at a 16-under, 268, eight strokes in front of Jason Day, who finished at a 8-under, 276.
