Tony Robichaux won his 900th career game Saturday as Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns spotted Texas-San Antonio a three run lead before rallying past the Roadrunners 9-6 before 2,040 fans at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

The Cajuns (6-1) will go for the three game sweep tomorrow at 1pm.

UTSA (5-2) got a three run homer from cleanup hitter R. J. Perucki off Cajuns starter Cody Boutte (2-0) to stake the Roadrunners to an early 3-0 lead, but the Cajuns struck back on a Tyler Girouard homer to left, his second of the season, cutting the lead to 3-1 after two.  The Cajuns tied it in the third on Michael Strentz/ two run double.

The Cajuns took the lead for good in the fifth on Chase Compton's two run double and added two more on a Seth Harrison double and a Strentz single and led 7-3.

Boutte meanwhile, settled down after the home run and held the Roadrunners, who came into the game with a .407 team batting average, scoreless over the next five innings.  Boutte retired eleven straight batters at one point.

But in the seventh the Roadrunners got a single by Jeff Baker and, with two outs, a walk to John Welborn.  Leadoff hitter Riley Good beat out an infield hit to load the bases and end Boutte's day.  Reliever Matt Plitt was greeted by a three run double by center fielder Daniel Rockett to bring UTSA within one run, 7-6.

The Cajuns got one of the runs back in the seventh inning on freshman Blake Trahan's RBI single, and capped the scoring in the eighth on an RBI groundout by Jace Conrad.

Matt Hicks pitched hitless ball over the last two innings for his second save.

The Cajuns pounded out 15 hits in the game, led by Strentz with four.  Harrison had three hits and scored four runs, while Girouard and Trahan had two hits apiece.  The Cajuns now have 35 hits in the first two games of the series.

Good, Rockett and MIke Warren, the top three hitters in the Roadrunners' lineup, had six of their eight hits.

Austin Robichaux, who gave his father a shaving cream face after the game in celebration of the milestone win, will get the start Sunday for the Cajuns.
