Rivera Notches Save #600
Another milestone for a member of the New York Yankees.
Earlier this season, Derek Jeter became the first player ever to get 3,000 hits as a Yankee.
Last night it was Mariano Rivera's turn.
The New York closer notched his 600th career save in the Yankees' 3-2 win over Seattle. It was Rivera's 41st save in 46 opportunities this season.
That places him one save from tying Trevor Hoffman's all time record of 601.
