Restricted free agent wide receiver Willie Snead reported to the New Orleans Saints offseason workouts today, according to a report from NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

The Saints tendered Snead an original round compensation. It's worth $1.9 million for one year, if Snead plays under it in 2018.

Snead visited the Baltimore Ravens this offseason, but wasn't offered a contract.

He has yet to sign the Saints tender, per Rapoport.

Last offseason, Snead was an exclusive rights free agent and didn't sign the Saints tender until the summer, reporting to team workouts last spring as he is today.

Snead was very productive in the New Orleans offense in 2015 and 2016.

In the 2017 offseason, he was arrested for a DUI, and was forced to serve a 3 game suspension. He also battled a hamstring injury for a bulk of the season.

After a 69 catch, 984 yard, 3 touchdown campaign in 2015, followed by a 72 catch, 895 yard, 4 touchdown season in 2016, Snead's number dropped drastically in 2017.

Last year, the 25 year old fell to 4th on the Saints wide receiver depth chart, finishing the season with only 92 yards on 8 catches.
