My hometown is so awesome that Mississippi wants a piece of it.

A new restaurant named after the crawfish capital of the world will be opening soon in Columbus, Mississippi (near Starkville).

The restaurant will simply be called Breaux Bridge and it will feature a fusion of Cajun and Asian food. The menu will include Cajun staples such as seafood gumbo and poboys, but then also some unique dishes such as crawfish fried rice.

According to the restaurant's co-owner Mark Castleberry, Breaux Bridge should open by the end of summer, although no exact date was given.

I can't wait to go to Breaux Bridge...Mississippi.
