According to a report from Jim Kleinpeter of The Times Picayune, two freshmen football players at LSU were reportedly arrested last week on two unrelated incidents.

Freshmen defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao (pictured), who suffered a serious arm injury last week after punching through a glass window, was reportedly arrested last Thursday for stealing a bicycle on LSU's campus four weeks ago. Lealaimatafao was spotted on surveillance video taking an unsecured bike near LSU's Middleton Library.

Freshmen defensive end Davon Godchaux was arrested last Monday on criminal mischief charges for his involvement in several firecrackers that were thrown into a housing unit at LSU's West Campus Apartments. The firecrackers started a small fire and damaged furniture.

According to Kleinpeter's report, Godchaux admitted this involvement with the firecrackers, but that his intent was part of a prank, rather than anything malicious.

Both players were issued misdemeanor citations.

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said that head coach Les Miles has met with both players about the arrests, and will discipline each of them internally.
