New Orleans Saints Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Jordan underwent minor surgery on his lower back, according to a report from Jason Cole of Bleacher Report.

Cole notes the surgery was minor by nature and served as a clean-up. Jordan is not expected to miss much time this offseason in the recovery process.

Cole also reports, through sources, that Jordan played through the injury in the latter part of the 2015 campaign, as well as the NFL Pro Bowl. He used epidural shots to deal with the pain, and the Saints were good with it.

Jordan was the only member of the Saints to make the Pro Bowl this year, finishing the season with 10 sacks, a forced fumble and 45 tackles in the wake of numerous double teams.
