New Orleans Saints starting center Jonathan Goodwin started his 89th consecutive game in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. However, that streak appears to be in jeopardy after injuring his ankle in the second half.

According to the NFL Network, Goodwin suffered a high ankle sprain.

Saints head coach Sean Payton was asked today if he had any updates on Goodwin's injury. His answer was short.

"No."

Tim Lelito, who battled Goodwin for the starting job in training camp, played 30 snaps on Sunday at center, and will start if Goodwin misses any games moving forward.

An MRI is scheduled on Goodwin's ankle today. He was seen in the locker room yesterday using crutches and wearing a walking boot on his left foot.

Backup guard Senio Kelemete will likely backup Lelito at center.
