Darius Miller, 29, is returning to the New Orleans Pelicans on a 2 year deal worth $14.25M, but the 2nd year of the deal is non-guaranteed, and can likely be used as a trade piece at the deadline if the Pels deem it necessary.

Drafted in the 2nd round by the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans) in 2012, Miller spend his first 2+ seasons with the franchise before playing with Brose Bamberg of Germany.

He returned to the Pelicans in 2017 on a 2 year deal.

The 6'8 small forward is a three point shooter who adds needed depth to the wing for New Orleans.

His best season came in 2017-18, when he appeared in every game as a regular in the rotation, finishing the year with a 41.1% clip from 3 point range.

Last season, that number dropped to 36.5%.
