Louisiana Ragin' Cajun junior pitcher Reagan Bazar was drafted in the 17th round by the San Francisco Giants.

According to his father's twitter account, Bazar has signed with the club.

The 6'7, 250 lb right-handed hurler from Salado, Texas earned Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American honors in his first season at UL, clocking 100mph in his first collegiate pitch.

He made 13 appearances as a sophomore and 9 as a junior, all in relief.

With undeniable power, Bazar was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 33rd round of the 2013 draft, but elected to sign with Louisiana.

Ragin' Cajun seniors Eric Carter and Stefan Trosclair were drafted, as well as Ragin' Cajun signees Todd Lott and Handsome Monica.
