The Oakland Raiders will turn to their third string quarterback in the first round of the playoffs.

The Raiders, who missed out on a chance to win the AFC West when they lost to Denver on Sunday, will start rookie Connor Cook in their playoff game this Saturday with Houston.

Cook came on in relief of starter Matt McGloin, who injured his shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's game.

Cook will be the first rookie quarterback to start a playoff game without a regular season start.  Cook has taken only 30 snaps all season.
