As the home of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, ESPN 1420 will keep you updated as the commits become Cajuns. Make sure to check back throughout the day to get your first look at the newest Ragin' Cajuns and latest information regarding the 2017 class. Kadon Harrison
6’3” 185lbs, Quarterback

Playing for his father Kenny, Kadon guided his Memorial team to a 10-2 mark in 2016.The Titans most successful season since 2011. Harrison finished his senior campaign completing 152 of 226 passes for 2000 yards and 23 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions.

A 2016 First Team All-American by MaxPreps, Rogers finished his senior campaign catching 61 passes for 1042 yards and 13 scores. Expect Rogers to see playing time almost immediately. A highly touted target, Rogers held multiple SEC offers.

An athletic, rangy defensive end, Jones brings a never ending motor to the Louisiana defensive line. The first-team all district selection averaged nearly nine stops per game in 2016.

The All-Acadiana Defensive MVP brings size and athleticism to a talented defensive line group that was easily the most improved Cajun unit in 2016. Hill have the opportunity to learn from an experienced group when he reaches campus. The Cajun defensive line graduated just one senior.

Earnest Patterson, Jr.
5’7” 155lbs, Wide Receiver

The dynamic speedster provides Louisiana immediate help at the slot receiver position. Despite his tiny stature, Patterson led Blinn College in catches with 68, receiving yards with 906, and receiving touchdowns with six.

A tall corner with a knack for taking away the football Johnson fits the mold of former Cajuns Melvin White and Simeon Thomas. The first team all-state selection helped lead the Eagles to the Division IV state semifinals.

Elijah Mitchell

As the Cajuns look to replace one Elijah in the backfield, they turn to another to aid in that process. Mitchell, the LSWA 3A offensive MVP led the state in both rushing and touchdowns. Picking up 2358 yards and 36 touchdowns. The Erath product joins a talented but young running back group.

The first team all 5A selection adds more local flavoring to the Cajuns 2017 class. Trahan made plays on offense, defense, and special teams for Acadiana, expect him to do the same for Louisiana.

6’5” 250lbs, Offensive Lineman

An athletic tackle with a knack for finishing off defenders, Rubio was a first team all-district 2-5A selection in 2016. At 6’5” but just 250 pounds, Rubio’s frame should allow the big man to put on additional weight without losing mobility.

The powerful 6’3”, 315 pounder brings size, agility, and athleticism to Louisiana. Epson, a tackle in high school is expected to move inside and play guard for the Cajuns. A Best of #MSPreps first teamer, Epson recorded 35 pancake blocks during his senior campaign.

The 2017 Warren Dunn Award winner and first-team all state selection brings a big arm and shifty moves to Louisiana. On his way to leading Scotlandville to the state finals, Lewis threw for 2450 yards and 17 touchdowns. He added 23 touchdowns on the ground, rushing for nearly 1600 yards in 2016.

The Cajuns currently have three members of this years class on campus. Junior college players Karson Block and Staten Wade and SMU transfer Ryheem Malone.
