Ragin' Cajun Softball won the regular season Sun Belt crown, but Head Coach Michael Lotief knows they have to finish business in the Conference Tournament.

Eight players made All-Conference. Lexie Elkins became one of four players in Ragin' Cajun history to win back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year titles. Michael Lotief danced a dangerous tango with health, yet he's still around to talk about the Sun Belt Tournament. Some teams call themselves fighters, but Lotief's softball team embodies it better than most.

The hashtag #FightLikeMike took over the collegiate softball world, but Lotief was the first person to reflect the attention back onto the young women playing for him. They earned the #1 seed, despite a ton of adversity. Have mercy on the team that meets them in the postseason.

Lotief thinks they're ready. Last year's shortcomings in the Women's College World Series still ring loudly in the ears of most of the veterans. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, or so the saying goes.

Their first round opponent is Georgia State, but the Cajuns will prepare like it is any other game
